Col. H.S Bedi, CMD, Tulip Telecom

We, as a nation are witnessing tremendous economic growth, resulting in growing stature of India in the comity of nations. We need to move forward to realise our true potential as a politically, socially and economically stable state. I expect the upcoming budget to be people and business friendly and to continue to take India on its path of growth. With NTP and other major telecom plans on the anvil, the telecom sector, is set to witness new standards of communication with the progress in new technologies. In my view the government must support the new broadband policy to further strengthen the communication landscape of the country . We need to connect the last village at the remotest end to the rest of India to empower the common man with the choice and freedom to communicate. Granting more funds and resources will add to the growth trajectory. I firmly believe that the Telecom sector is a strong driver for economic growth.
