Government should unveil true assessment criterion“We expect that government would mull over beginning ‘e- governance initiative’, which should give complete visibility on tax structure, tax collection, tax spend and a true measurement criterion with long term liability at execution level. Not only, this will provide further clarity from government’s end, but in the long run, it will also help in building more trust towards governance by people of India. Additionally, subsidized product and services distribution system should be made stronger and liable, as this will avoid conversion of subsidy into corruption. India’s economic achievements are well known and to take it forward, the Finance Minister should come up with a focused and separate initiative for R &D in manufacturing excellence, so that gap between India and China can be reduced”
